I believe travel is one of life’s ultimate joys- it never fails to inspire, educate, and fill me with wonder and gratitude. Having grown up in a military family afforded me the opportunity to live on 3 continents and opened my eyes to the world, and forever cemented a wanderlust for adventure. As an adult, I started to explore and took this passion to many countries, allowing me the benefit of learning and experiencing amazing locations, cuisines and cultures firsthand. When the opportunity arose to utilize my background in culinary arts and event planning coupled with my love of all things travel, A Journey Afar Travel was born, specializing in culinary adventures, milestone events, and family travel.
