Most Memorable Travel Experience

One of my favorite travel memories is from Jack’s Camp in Botswana, where I witnessed a scene straight out of National Geographic. Just after sunrise, with the salt pans glowing in the soft morning light, a sole lion emerged from the horizon, crossing right in front of camp. Silent and focused, he was stalking a wildebeest, and while seeing a kill wasn’t necessarily something I had hoped for (it's sad but it's the circle of life), the raw intensity of that moment was unforgettable. It was a powerful reminder that in Africa, you're not just observing nature - you're fully immersed in it. That sunrise, that lion, that stillness... it’s etched into my memory forever.
