Most Memorable Travel Experience
My friend and I showed up to the farm in the Netherlands where we would be staying for the night, and before we knew it we were in the pen with the alpacas! One of the alpacas had to be taken to the vet, so our host asked if we could "babysit" the other four for a few hours. It was a bit chaotic at first, but once everyone settled down, we ordered in pizza and wine and enjoyed it with the alpacas hanging out around us. It looks pretty understated from the outside, but inside it is full of quiet surprises, with historic character blended with modern design, an excellent in house restaurant, and a rooftop terrace with a pool and beautiful views over the old town.
