Silversea has launched its first collection of S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages, a series of itineraries built around experiencing a destination through its food, flavors and people. The debut collection sails aboard Silver Dawn and Silver Spirit across Portugal, Spain, France and the United Kingdom, timed to Europe’s autumn grape harvest season.

Four Themes, One Culinary Journey

Each S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyage is guided by four themes: Gather, Craft, Celebrate and Indulge. Together, they connect guests with regional ingredients, traditions and culture through experiences designed to go beyond a typical shore excursion.

A Season Built Around the Harvest

The inaugural collection comprises seven sailings timed to Europe’s Grape Harvest season, when vineyards across Portugal, Spain and France are at their most alive. Each voyage carries an expanded slate of onboard culinary programming, including chef-led tasting dinners, sommelier-guided wine tastings and hands-on mixology sessions inspired by the season.

Signature Moments Throughout the Voyage

Beyond the tastings, each Grape Harvest sailing carries its theme throughout the voyage, from a Harvest Cruise Welcome featuring autumn-inspired cocktails and a caviar presentation on embarkation day, to an Autumn Harvest Grand Brunch later in the sailing. It is the kind of detail that turns a cruise into a fully immersive culinary experience from the moment guests step on board.

Access Guests Couldn’t Arrange on Their Own

Ashore, S.A.L.T. Experiences bring guests directly into the destinations that shape each region’s food culture. Highlights include a private port-blending session with an oenologist on a historic Douro Valley wine estate, a behind-the-scenes visit and lunch with a Michelin-recognized chef at Château du Prince Noir in Bordeaux, and a truffle hunt at the historic Château Royal de Cazeneuve.

Small Ships, Bigger Access

S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages build on Silversea’s position as a leader in culinary variety among small-ship cruise lines. Sailing aboard intimate ships allows Silversea to reach places larger vessels cannot, and to arrange the kind of access guests could not easily arrange on their own, whether that means a countess opening her kitchen or a chef teaching family recipes at home.

Beyond the Harvest Collection

S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages join a broader lineup of Silversea itineraries, including Classic Ocean Voyages and Expedition sailings through Asia, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, along with Silversea’s newly unveiled 2028 to 2029 Voyage Collection spanning 278 voyages across 497 destinations in 71 countries.

The Silversea Way

Guests choosing a S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyage will find it paired with the comforts that define Silversea overall: spacious all-suite accommodations, personalized service and itineraries built around fewer, more meaningful stops rather than a packed schedule. It is travel designed for those who want their appetite for discovery matched by their appetite for good food.

For guests who want to experience a destination through its cuisine as much as its scenery, S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyages offer a new way to travel with Silversea. Contact your Coastline Travel Group advisor to begin planning a S.A.L.T. Culinary Voyage.
