Each autumn, the rivers of France take on a particular kind of light: gold over Provence’s vineyards, mist rising from Burgundy’s canals, the Seine catching the last color of the year as it moves past Paris. Les Bateaux Belmond has spent the season on the water, and now looks toward its final months of the year with new October sailings, two additional November departures, and a debut in the French capital unlike anything the fleet has offered before.
Two October Sailings Remain
October closes with two remaining opportunities to sail with Les Bateaux Belmond. On the 25th, Lilas offers a private charter through Burgundy from €75,100 all-inclusive, and Napoleon has four cabins remaining on an open sailing through Provence, priced per cabin from €8,430. It’s a strong option for travelers who want the classic Belmond river experience before the season turns toward winter.
Extended Season: Provence Sailings Now Available Through November 1st

By popular demand, Les Bateaux Belmond has extended the season on its two Provence vessels through November 1st. Napoleon is available as a private charter from €70,000, and Pivoine from €50,000, giving travelers a rare final window to sail Provence before the year turns toward winter.
A First for Paris: Festive Journeys Aboard Marguerite

This December marks a genuine first for Les Bateaux Belmond: the first time the fleet has ever brought a boat to Paris, aboard the newly refurbished Marguerite, for an exclusive three-day, two-night Festive Journey along the illuminated Seine. The private charter accommodates up to eight guests across four ensuite cabins, with a dedicated onboard crew, round-trip transfers, and a fully inclusive, bespoke itinerary curated by a Guest Experience Manager.
Highlights include private shopping appointments at prestigious LVMH Maisons, a rare encounter with the master woodworker who helped rebuild Notre-Dame Cathedral, and festive dining designed by three-Michelin-starred chef Dominique Crenn. Guests also enjoy holiday markets, seasonal onboard entertainment, and a gift exchange as the boat is transformed into a private winter retreat on the water. Departures run from December 1st through January 1st, with pricing from €45,000 for up to eight guests over two nights, and an optional third night available on Friday departures for a supplement.
From vineyard sunsets in Provence to a private Christmas on the Seine, the months ahead bring together three distinct chapters of France aboard Les Bateaux Belmond, each suited to a different kind of traveler. Given the limited cabin availability in October and the debut nature of the December sailings, early planning is recommended.
