Four Seasons Napa Valley – Napa Valley, CA

Sometimes travelers like to experience new and unique places but feel the comfort of some familiarity at the same time. Four Seasons Napa Valley offers the best of both worlds.

Prepare to be pleasantly surprised! The Four Seasons Napa Valley presents more like a boutique hotel with 85 rooms. The property includes privately owned residences, complete with full kitchens, and also available to rent through the Four Seasons.

If you are traveling with little ones, special touches like a diaper pail in the room make for unique and specialized attention to detail. Families will love the thought and care put into their stay that does not happen at other destinations.

Do not miss experiencing breakfast at Truss, the hotel restaurant. The vibe is very relaxing, with a view overlooking the vineyards. Sit next to the cozy fire pit on the patio and sip on excellent coffee while enjoying some of the best huevos rancheros around. Little ones will happily devour the kid's breakfast plate available on the family-friendly menu.

If you are going to Napa Valley, wine tasting should be part of your itinerary! The Four Seasons is close to many wineries, and they have a relationship with a great DMC in the area who can coordinate VIP wine tastings. Elusa Winery is on the property, and they produce an excellent Cabernet Franc, which you can only buy directly from the winery. You do not want to miss a tasting at Elusa, just a few steps from your room! You may want to try the burger at Truss at the end of the day; it might be the best burger you will ever eat! The Four Seasons Napa Valley boasts two pools: a family pool and an adult pool, as well as a bocce ball court and a supremely relaxing spa. While there, treat yourself to a facial! The Four Seasons is a 4-minute drive or bike ride to the quaint town of Calistoga.

If you typically prefer a Four Season to other properties, this is where to go. There are several options in the area; however, the Four Seasons offers consistency for those who like to know what to expect. Many travelers faithful to the Four Seasons are loyal to their beds, and the beds at Four Seasons Napa Valley do not disappoint! The property is also excellent for families with young children, as many other local hotels do not allow kids. A big bonus of the Four Seasons for families is that the All Seasons Kids Club will entertain children ages five and up while the adults are off property wine tasting.

Insider Tip: Request a vineyard view room on the north side of the property, away from the highway noise and the winery parking lot. If you have previously stayed on property and have a favorite room, you can request a specific room, and quite possibly, they may grant your request!

Getting there: Flying into Sacramento Airport is a bit farther away, about an hour and 45-minute drive. However, the airport is more manageable than Oakland Airport, and it is easier to rent a car. Further, the journey is more pleasant (versus driving to/from Oakland Airport, which is a lot of stop-and-go due to traffic lights and just traffic in general).
